This is LOVSKI (Igor Sekulović) is een producer, artiest en performer uit Bosnië en Herzegovina. Als 9 jarige vluchtte Igor voor de oorlog in Joegoslavië. Hij verliet zijn land, maar nam zijn passie voor de klanken van de Balkan met zich mee. De muziek, een mix van Bosnische roots met indie/new wave en tropische sounds, neemt je mee op een reis zonder grenzen. Onlangs kwam zijn nieuwe single ‘Trippin On Borders’ uit, en deze is gelijk opgenomen in de playlist New Music Friday van Spotify en New Music Daily van Apple Music!
This is LOVSKI zegt over deze track: “So one time I was travelling back to my home country Bosnia and I was having a real good time in the car, good music and I was dancing behind the steering wheel. At some point I was crossing these borders in the Balkan and started thinking about having this tour along country borders. We would have this crazy party where people from both sides of the border would come and party together. It would be this great party in nomansland. We would all shout out “stop shooting and start dancing! ” So I started writing the lyrics for Trippin On Borders. I would specially play around with the feeling we all would have on this party.”
